The History of CL Aluminum
It’s been said that necessity is the mother of invention, and for CL Aluminum, necessity resulted in the development of a new product line that would become a growing business.
In 2004, Chris Fisher, long-time co-owner of a shed business, had a problem. The company he relied on to supply 8×8 vents for his line of custom sheds stopped manufacturing the product.
First, he looked for alternative sources but couldn’t find another one that offered color-matching options. This was crucial since the vinyl sheds his company manufactured came with a variety of trim colors.
He decided to make his own. It wasn’t about volume in the beginning—just about what he needed. He involved his team and made a winter project out of it. Soon, other shed manufacturers started asking about vents and buying them in bulk for their own shed lines.
In 2019, Matthew Fisher entered the business as co-owner and now CL Aluminum is busy supplying products for all your aluminum drip edge, flashing, vent, starter, z-bar, and synthetic felt needs. Place your order today!
